All gas appliances need regular servicing at least once a year, this is to ensure they are running safely and efficiently, this is also a requirement under the gas safety installation and use regulations. Boiler manufacturers will also require yearly servicing to keep their guarantee valid. Just as your car needs regular servicing and m.o.t so do your gas appliances.
